Ghanaian politician Hopeson Adorye, husband of popular gospel musician Empress Gifty, has finally responded to swirling cheating allegations that have taken over social media.

The explosive claims suggest that Empress Gifty was allegedly involved in an extramarital affair with a man identified as Kofi Owusu. Even more shocking, the alleged incident is said to have occurred on the couple’s matrimonial bed.

The rumours have sparked intense discussion online, drawing reactions from fans, critics, and the general public. Amid the growing speculation, Hopeson Adorye has come forward to address the matter publicly for the first time, though the full details of his response are yet to be made known.

“Yesterday, Hopeson Adorye caught Empress Gifty having an extramarital affair with an individual named Kofi Owusu on their matrimonial bed… When Hopeson caught them, he slapped Gifty, and now the issue is before the Tesano Police,” an anonymous source alleged.

But Hopeson is not taking the matter lightly. In a strongly worded response, he dismissed the claims and directed harsh words toward the source of the rumor.

“You people can’t bring me down. You think you can hide on the internet and misbehave? Even the people you’re fighting for are pleading with me to return to the party,” he fired back.

In a separate outburst, he directed a chilling warning to the person behind the viral claims:

“I’m warning you, call your mother and tell her you will die very soon. How can you fabricate such harmful lies about a fellow woman and seek to destroy her hard-earned reputation? Don’t you know she has children, and she’s a brand ambassador for multiple products? That’s her livelihood.”
He didn’t stop there. Hopeson revealed that he had taken steps to unmask the identity of the person behind the allegations.

“I just came from the Immigration Service, and I have all your details. Don’t you know I can sue you in the country where you live? Don’t joke with me.”

The video, which first sparked the controversy, has since gone viral, igniting a mix of reactions online. While some netizens called for calm and demanded proof, others criticized the alleged physical assault if true.
