A research analyst at the Institute of Energy and Security, Mr Fritz Moses has revealed that Public Utility Regulatory Commission (PURC) will take into consideration the opinions of Ghanaians before the introduction of the new utility tariffs.
The PURC and its stakeholders aim at introducing new tariffs on water and electricity bills by August this year. But Fritz Moses believes that PURC will consider the current hardship of Ghanaians before any adjustment.
Speaking on Breakfast Time, Fritz however urged Ghanaians to be prepared for the new prices.
He indicated that PURC cannot prevent the augmentation but will make sure the opinions of Ghanaians are taken into great consideration.
