The Head Teacher of Chuchuliga Junior High School in the Builsa North Municipality of the Upper East Region, Rev. Gaase James, has appealed to the government, organizations, individuals, and old students to help construct a borehole to ensure a frequent water supply in the school.
Speaking to Oyerepa News on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Rev. Gaase said getting the borehole was urgent as the students travel a far distance to fetch water, which impedes effective teaching and learning at the school.
He added that the pupils, together with the staff of the school, needed a constant flow of water for proper hygiene, especially for the girls during their menstrual period and proper handwashing.
Rev. Gaase appealed to the government, Member of Parliament for the Builsa North Constituency Hon. James Agalga, individuals, and other charitable institutions to come to the aid of the school as the situation is affecting teaching and learning at the school.
