Multi award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie or‘Obidi’ has recounted how music producer, Da Hammer urged young rappers in his camp to take pictures with him (Sarkodie) before he rised to fame.
According to Obidi Hammer of the Last Two used to urge other people to leverage on the opportunity of taking photographs with him (King Sark) before they miss the chance to do so in the years ahead.
“I remember when Hammer used to tell people all the time… He went like: Take pictures with this guy. You might not be able to take it two or three years to come.” Sarkodie disclosed in an interview on an Accra-based Hitz FM.
Obidi explained that, music producer Hammer of the Last Two declared that he (Sarkodie) was a well-established musician (Superstar) even when he was still a toddler on the music scene.
“I remember one time when I was cruising with him, I was seated at the back and, he [Da’ Hammer] looked at me through the rear-view mirror and said: WOW! I have a superstar in my car… And these were the days when I was still wearing chalewote,” the “Non Living Thing” hitmaker crooner revealed.
