GUTA embarks on National tour to boost business growth and sustainability
The Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) has embarked on an ambitious national monitoring tour, visiting various districts across the country to gain a deeper understanding of the business environment and identify challenges facing its members.
The objective of this initiative is to develop effective solutions to these challenges, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the overall performance and sustainability of businesses within the association.
Speaking to the media, Madam Pearl Po, National Coordinator for GUTA’s Women’s Wing, and Mrs. Gifty Fianu, National Secretary for the wing, emphasized that GUTA’s primary mandate is to support traders and has robust strategies in place to benefit its members.
The tour, which commenced at Rawlings Park, involved engaging with members from the stationary and clothing sectors, with the aim of understanding their concerns and identifying areas for improvement.
According to Mrs. Fianu, GUTA is committed to ensuring the safety and prosperity of its members in the marketplace. The association is hopeful that by next year, they will have visited all districts under GUTA’s jurisdiction nationwide, effectively addressing issues impeding business growth.
During their visits, several members expressed their concerns to the media, highlighting the urgent need for attention and solutions. These concerns will inform GUTA’s strategies to address the challenges facing its members and promote a more conducive business environment.
GUTA’s national monitoring tour demonstrates its commitment to supporting Ghanaian traders and promoting the growth and sustainability of businesses across the country.
