According to reports renowned gospel musician Isaac Ampong, popularly known as Great Ampong, has been suspended by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
This decision follows a thorough investigation spanning several weeks.
The report says, Great Ampong’s suspension is a result of his actions contradicting the fundamental beliefs of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Specifically, his performances at funerals and other events on Saturdays, the designated Sabbath day, have been cited as a violation of church principles.
Furthermore, Great Ampong’s recent ordination as a pastor during a trip outside Ghana is believed to be the final incident leading to his suspension. This ordination is seen as a direct contravention of church doctrine.
