Ghanaian rapper, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, well known as D-Black has expressed dissatisfaction about the severe hardship Ghanaians are facing in recent times.
Taking to his social media to lament about the distressing conditions and hardships in the country, D Black complained about the lack of jobs which has subjected a lot of graduates, particularly the youth in the country who are now faced with tough conditions and motion for survival.
He further expressed his displeasure in the lack of incentives for the lower class people in the country and also the deteriorating state of the Ghanaian economy which seems not to be getting any better from time to time.
The rapper also fumed over the current exchange rate with regards to the cedi and other global currencies which has depreciated that Ghanaian currency, making it almost invaluable.
He wrote, “Town make hard ooo . Naaaa. Government ain’t helping the people like promised. There are no jobs , there are no incentives for the lower class , the economy isn’t doing well on numerous fronts , the cedi is depreciating soo fast, the people are going through it.”
The rapper is amongst the thousands of Ghanaians chastising the Akufo-Addo led government over their poor and incompetent governance since they assumed office.
Although many have complained and called on the government to come to the aid of the average citizens, matters keep getting tougher as petrol, transport and even electricity prices continue to increase.
