Prof Edward Owusu, Gospel Recording Artiste, and an Associate Professor, has released an exceptional single dubbed: “You Came Through For Me.”
The track which is composed, arranged, performed, and produced by the artiste himself is full of life-changing phrases. In the first verse, the artiste segments the full calendar year into two parts:
January to July, and August to December.
From January to July, he laments about how hard life was. Then from August to December, he talks about how God “came through” to salvage the situation.
Some of the lines of the lyrics are:
“Life was so hard, initially”
“Life was so unbearable, emotionally”
“Hopeless situation, You fixed it all”
“And You came through for me”
The track was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Dehomies Empire Studio by Osei Sarfo Kantanka (LH). Back in 2000 and 2001, Prof Edward Owusu, who was then the leader of the gospel duo ‘’Eddy and Vivian”, spearheaded the release of two albums titled “Jesus Beye” and “Jesus Ho Nwom”.
In 2020, he relaunched his music career with a hit single “Jesus Deh Yah.” Other singles from him include “Ko Yesu ho”, “COVID-19”, “Only You”, “In You”, “Psalm 23”, “Psalm 121” etc.
“I expect that this single will change the mindset of listeners by thinking of the things that God has done for them, instead of focusing on some problematic issues in their lives”, Prof Edward Owusu told the media.
“It is expected that the track will have an impact on the spiritual lives of my listeners”, he added.
