Deputy Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu Bempah, has stated that God will cease to be God if he allows the NPP to lose the 2024 election.
According to Owusu Bempah, the NPP’s Free Senior High School (SHS) policy is a covenant with God’s will, and therefore, God will not let the party lose the upcoming election.
This statement comes amidst mixed forecasts about the NPP’s chances in the 2024 presidential elections.
Meanwhile, several surveys, like Global InfoAnalytics, have predicted that the ruling NPP will lose the upcoming election.
Reacting to those surveys, in an interview with Kwesi Parker Wilson on Oyerepa TV, Owusu Bempah indicated that the NPP will not lose the election due to Free SHS, adding that Free SHS police is covenant.
The Free SHS policy, a flagship program of the NPP government, has been a game-changer for many Ghanaian students, providing access to education. Owusu Bempah believes this aligns with God’s desire for the welfare and progress of the poor.
