Gospel musician Christiana Love Antwi, popularly known as Obaapa Christy, has revealed that her greatest wish is to be remembered for allowing God to use her music and life to win souls.

Speaking on the entertainment segment of Oyerepa Breakfast Time with Nana Ama Intsiful, the veteran gospel musician said she hopes her music, personality and impact will remain in the hearts of people long after her death.

Obaapa Christy said she wants people to remember her as someone whose music brought joy and served as a vessel through which God touched lives.

“I want them to remember me in so many ways. They should remember that Obaapa Christy once lived, sang, and her songs worked miracles on earth. God used her as a vessel to win souls for Himself,” she stated.

Describing the kind of personality she hopes people will remember, she added, “Obaapa Christy is a lovely girl. Wherever I get to, joy hovers there. No matter how sad you might be, everyone will have something to remember me for.”

However, beyond her personality and musical achievements, Obaapa Christy said her ultimate legacy would be measured by the number of lives she helped draw closer to God.

“The most important thing is God using me to win souls. That is what I want,” she said.

Obaapa Christy, who has remained one of Ghana’s notable gospel musicians for more than two decades, has built her career around songs centred on faith, worship and personal experiences. Her comments suggest that, beyond fame and musical success, she considers her spiritual impact on people to be the most important part of her legacy.
