The Dean of Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFSC), Professor Vladimir Antwi-Danso is calling on Churches to Team up with Muslims to help sensitize and educate people especially Muslims on terrorism and its implications.
According to the security Analyst, Muslims have the conviction that when a Muslim kills a non-Islamic believer, he will go to heaven.
This according to him has made a lot of Islamic Youth aligning themselves with terrorist groups.
He said when intensive education goes on in the various Mosques, such notion would be debunked.
“When you kill one infidel, you will go straight to heaven and when you happen to be a youth, you will be gifted six virgins.“ He quoted.
He also called on the Ghana Police Service to Arrest Coup mongering Pastors who prophesy about coups in the country because the constitution frowns on that.
“The Police should arrest and prosecute Coup mongering Pastors , they should go to prison and prophesy. “ Prof Danso stated.
He also added that the ‘in fighting’s ‘ in some parts of the regions, especially the Northern part of Ghana can be an advantage for the terrorists group. He said these groups can sponsor and fuel such in fighting’s by providing them weapons in order to penetrate our Country and Society.
