Mr Kennedy Agyapong, a stalwart New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Assin Central in the Central region, has taxed aspiring MPs in NPP-dominated constituencies to show maximum respect to sitting MPs.
Using the Suame constituency as an example, he believes it will foster the necessary peaceful environment in the constituency while also allowing aspirants to gain the support of incumbent MPs during parliamentary primaries.
Kennedy Agypong, Chairman of the Board of Ghana Gas, offered advice at the commissioning of an Astroturf built for the people of Breman in the Ashanti region’s Suame Municipal Assembly.
His advice is in reaction to a disagreement between the MP for Suame, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, and one Lawyer John Darko, a Board Member of Ghana Gas.
Kennedy Agyapong, on the other hand, expressed dismay that no official from the Suame Municipal Assembly was present at the function.
Lawyer John Darko, whose assistance was used to build the Astro-turf by Ghana Gas, urged Ghanaians not to stop believing in the NPP government because it is only the NPP that holds the key to the development of any country.
