Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), expressed optimism that his message has resonated well with the people of Ghana. He is confident that the citizens will turn out in large numbers to vote for him and the NPP in today’s election.
Following the casting of his ballot in the Northeast Region of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia addressed the press, emphasizing his hope for a successful outcome in the election.
“By the grace of God, I am very hopeful of winning this election. I think that we have done a lot of work; we have put our message to the people, and I think that the message has been well received, I believe that by the grace of God when all the ballots are counted, the NPP, myself, and our parliamentary candidates will emerge victorious,” he said
The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia cast his vote at the Kperiga Presby D/A primary school polling station in the Walewale constituency of the North East region indicates that he has gathered the enthusiasm with which the people of Ghana are going out to vote is a clear indication of the growth of the country’s democracy.
