The third edition of the Power Energy Ghana Exhibition, a premier international showcase of power, electrical, and energy products and technology, is scheduled for November 6-8, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Center.
The Power Energy Ghana Exhibition, organized by BIG4SURE EVENTS FZCO UAE and Wegvoraus Exhibitions, under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy Ghana and supported by the Ministry of Trade and Investment, is set to address the country’s power and energy supply demands.
Mr Thomas James, Project Director Power Energy Ghana Expo said the exhibition is expected to address the Power and energy supplies demand and issues in the country so that the robust power sector can be built and developed.
He further mentioned that the event is in line with the vision of government of Ghana to have a strong industrial support infrastructure for export and job creation.
The exhibition promises to be a game-changer, bringing together over 100 exhibitors from around the world, including India, China, Turkey, Nigeria, UAE, France, Spain, UK, and Ghana. With over 4,000 professional visitors expected to attend, this is a fantastic opportunity for networking, business development, and knowledge sharing,’ he said.
Dr. Joseph Obeng, President of the Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA), emphasized the significance of the Power Energy Ghana Expo in educating Ghanaians on energy efficiency products.
He believes that this increased awareness will help the government reduce losses in the energy sector, which often occur due to the use of substandard electrical gadgets.
According to Dr. Obeng, many Ghanaians purchase electrical products that don’t meet the Energy Commission’s specifications, primarily due to a lack of knowledge. To address this issue, he urged key stakeholders in the energy sector to participate in the expo. These stakeholders include:
