The Ghana Politics Awards Diaspora 2025 has officially been launched, with a bold mission to recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions to Ghana’s political development, both at home and abroad. The initiative is being spearheaded by Adamfopa Media, based in Paris, France, in collaboration with Ama Traba SC and Consultancy Services.
The prestigious awards seek to highlight individuals, organisations, and initiatives that have championed good governance, transparency, and accountability within Ghana’s political landscape.
Organisers say the initiative is designed not only to honour excellence but also to inspire continued commitment to the nation’s democratic values.
According to Appiah Bismarck, Assistant Communicator for the Ghana Politics Awards 2025, the awards are intended to shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes of Ghana’s governance system.
“The Ghana Politics Awards Diaspora 2025 seeks to recognise individuals, organisations, and initiatives that promote good governance, transparency, and accountability. By acknowledging exceptional works in these areas, we aim to inspire continued excellence and dedication to the betterment of Ghana’s political sphere,” he stated.
The event will be held in two phases. The main event is scheduled to take place in Ghana on August 30, 2025, with a follow-up diaspora edition to be held in Paris, France, on October 25, 2025.
Lekey Isaac, Head of Public Relations for the event, emphasised the broader vision of the awards, stating:
“This event serves as a platform for leaders and change-makers to be recognised, fostering a culture of integrity and service in governance. We invite all stakeholders to join us in celebrating the best of Ghana’s political landscape and to support our efforts in promoting good governance and accountability.”
Stakeholders, policymakers, civil society organisations, and members of the Ghanaian diaspora are encouraged to take part in this celebration of excellence and leadership, aimed at strengthening democratic values and effective governance in Ghana.
