The Ghana Police Service has announced a reshuffle affecting several regional commanders and key members of the Police Management and Advisory Board (POMAB).
The changes, which took effect on March 19, 2025, were detailed in an official statement signed by ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs.
Among the notable appointments:
- COP Maame Tiwa Addo-Danquah has been named Director-General of Research and Planning.
- COP Iddi Lansah Seidu has been appointed Director-General of Welfare.
- Supt. Solomon Akorli has taken up the role of Executive Secretary to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), COP Christian Tetteh Yohonu.
- DCOP Lydia Yaako Donkor is now the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), with DCOP Frank Abrokwah serving as her Deputy Director-General.
The reshuffle is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Ghana Police Service, ensuring improved security operations across the country.
