Ace Ghanaian actor, Alex Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, has sparked a lively debate with his bold assertion that Ghana’s economy surpasses that of the United Kingdom (UK) and most European countries.
In an interview on Oyerepa Breakfast Time on Friday, July 5, 2024, Agya Koo pointed out the significant advantage Ghana has over these countries regarding economic stability.
“In Ghana, the prices of goods and services are relatively stable, but if you go to the UK, the prices increase daily,” Agya Koo emphasized.
He further explained that this constant fluctuation in prices makes it challenging for individuals in the UK to budget and plan their finances effectively unlike in Ghana where the standard of living is quite moderate.
Agya Koo argued that Ghana’s economy, despite its challenges, offers a more predictable and stable environment for businesses and individuals to thrive under the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia-led government.
Agya Koo on the other hand asked Ghanaians not to make any mistake by voting out the NPP government because it is the only party that can develop the country.
