According to former president John Agyekum Kufuor, the entire globe, not just Ghana, is presently undergoing a leadership crisis.
The ex-president made these remarks at the Joint induction and Graduation Ceremony of his flagship Kufuor Scholars Program where he mentors young leaders.
In response to an occurrence, the former president stated that the world was in a crisis and that to come out would “depend on sound leadership”.
“The world today I believe is caught in leadership crises…I’m not talking just of Ghana,” he said.
He clarified that some of the nature of the global crises endanger the whole planet with many people feeling broken and hopeless.
“Look at the so-called developed world; they are in a serious leadership crisis which even might threaten the very survival of our planet…The reality, the truth is that all over, people are broken and searching for a way out of the crisis humanity finds itself in and “to break out of that will depend on sound leadership,” he noted.
