The Member of Parliament for Subin, Eugene Boakye Antwi, has accused Gabby Otchere Darko, a close ally of President Akufo-Addo, of orchestrating the removal of Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu as Majority Leader.
Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu resigned from his role in February 2024, a decision revealed at a crucial meeting of the majority group.
The Subin MP, in an interview with Kwesi Parker Wilson on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, revealed that Otchere Darko masterminded the ousting of Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu because he (Gabby) believed Osei Kyei Mensah was behind the MPs who organized a press conference demanding Ken Ofori-Atta’s removal as Finance Minister.
