G/A: Three Killed, One in Critical Condition Amid Alleged Landguard Activities at Banka-Busuafise
Three people have been killed, and one is in critical condition, within a span of three weeks at Banka-Busuafise in the Obom-Domeabra Constituency of the Ga South Municipality in the Greater Accra Region.
Confirming the incidents to Nana Ansah, Assemblyman for the Ashalaja Electoral Area, Hon. Gilbert Kwame Afekpe said two victims—including an 18-year-old boy—were beheaded and their bodies dumped in an uncompleted building.
Another victim was reportedly shot, while one person was stabbed in a nearby bush.
The killings are believed to be linked to the activities of alleged landguards operating in the area, raising serious concerns among residents over safety and security.
One person is currently in critical condition and is receiving treatment.
The Assemblyman is calling on authorities to intervene urgently and bring the situation under control to prevent further loss of life. He also criticized the police for what he described as a failure to respond adequately to several reports made earlier.

Meanwhile, some residents have stated that the situation has created fear and tension within the community. They said the landguards are attacking them with deadly weapons, killing people, and seizing their properties.
Residents are therefore calling on the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), the Minister for the Interior, and other relevant authorities to act swiftly, as the rate of killings in the area continues to rise.
