The Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim, has appealed to religious bodies in Ghana to complement the government’s efforts in providing young people with practical skills.
Representing President John Dramani Mahama at the Apostolic Faith Church’s 2025 Annual Camp Meeting, held under the theme “Liberation”, Hon. Ibrahim underscored the importance of collaboration between government and religious institutions in tackling youth unemployment.
He commended religious organisations for their contributions to national development and encouraged them to continue equipping young people with both spiritual and practical skills. He further reaffirmed government’s commitment to supporting youth development initiatives.
The Minister also praised the Apostolic Faith Church for bringing together participants from four ECOWAS countries for the annual camp meeting, describing it as a step towards strengthening unity among nations.
