The former District Chief Executive (DCE) for North Tongu, Osborn K. Divine Fenu, has died following a tragic road accident near Miotso on the Tema-Aflao highway.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, October 26, 2025, close to Central University College, while Mr. Fenu was reportedly travelling from his hometown to Accra.
He was rushed to the Tema General Hospital for emergency treatment but was later pronounced dead.
Mr. Fenu was appointed as District Chief Executive in October 2021 and served in that capacity until the New Patriotic Party (NPP) exited office earlier this year.
Since news of his passing broke, tributes have poured in across social media, with friends, colleagues, and residents of North Tongu expressing shock and mourning his loss.
