Former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Mfantseman Municipal Assembly in the Central Region, Kenneth Kelly Essuman, has been enstooled as Mpontuhen (Development Chief) of the Anomabo.
He has been installed for his immense contribution to the development of the area as well as for bringing honour to the Anomabo traditional council.
The newly enstooled Mpontuhen under the stool name Nana Kofi Amentuw swore the Great Oath of Allegiance to the Tufohen Basaw of Anomabo

The ceremony, attended by divisional chiefs, staff of Mfantseman Municipal Assembly, Assembly Members, clergy, family and friends saw the new chief, Nana Amentuw give awesome assurance to the people of Anomabo and the Traditional Council that he will use his experience as former MCE and give priority to the development of the area.
“My service to work is a gift from God. Because I was born with work of development and God being so good, I was appointed as Municipal Chief Executive for Mfantseman” he revealed.
“I will never disgrace the Paramount Chief of Anomabo, Kantamanto Amonu XI and the chiefs and elders but work extremely hard to change the status of Anomabo”.He assured
Nana Amentuw expressed gratitude to chiefs, elders and the people for the opportunity to support his leadership as the new Mpontuhen.
He thanked the chiefs and the people of Anomabo traditional area for the confidence reposed in him by enstooling him as development chief.
