Former IGP Paul Tawiah Quaye passes on
Former Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Paul Tawiah Quaye, has died.
Mr. Quaye served as the 21st IGP of the Ghana Police Service, holding office from May 16, 2009, to February 5, 2013.
During his tenure, he focused on improving operational efficiency and strengthening policing structures within the Service.
In recognition of his leadership, he was honoured in 2011 by the West Africa Nobles Forum as the “Most Effective and Efficient IGP in West Africa.”
His passing marks the loss of a senior figure in Ghana’s security and law enforcement history.
