Mr. Kwame Owusu, the campaign manager for Kennedy Agyapong, who is a presidential aspirant of the NPP, has apologised for any offensive remarks his boss’ has made.
Over the years, many Ghanaians believe that the Member of Parliament for Assin Central has managed to offend numerous individuals, including members of his own party. This behavior has led many to view him as arrogant and question his fittingness for the presidency.
However, the business tycoon has vehemently denied these perceptions, asserting that he is simply confident in his abilities.
In response to these comments, Mr. Owusu, during an interview on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, emphasized that Kennedy Agyapong has undergone a transformation and urged Ghanaians to forgive him and focus on his achievements.
“Even the way he (Kennedy) speaks, shows that he is remorseful. But if you say he should approach everyone individually and apologize, as a human being living in political circles for over 30 years, by the time he finishes, we would have been done with the elections. So possibly there might be a way out.
“I will take this opportunity on Kennedy’s behalf that if he has wronged anyone in the course of performing his duties or outside of it, I will say as a campaign manager that he should be forgiven and we should focus on the leadership he wants to bring on board because to err is human,” The campaign manager told Kwesi Parker -Wilson.
