Iconic Adjetey Anang, a Ghanaian actor, has disclosed that he received 25 cedis every episode for his role in the popular TV show “Things We Do For Love,” which debuted in 1999.
The lead character, “Pusher,” was portrayed by Adjetey Anang. He was a street-smart hustler who fell in love with Jackie Appiah. He acknowledged receiving 25 cedis but claimed that it was a huge sum of money at the time.
“It was 25 Cedis per episode,” he started. “ That was in 1999.”
“Each episode was 25 Cedis.” That occurred in 1999.”
He stated in a recent interview that because he was young and irresponsible, he could not save any money from his earnings.
According to the actor, “It wasn’t much at all. We were students, after all, so the small amount was fine for us. But back then, being on television was more of a passion.”
