“Florence Obinim’s family has returned ‘Tiri Nsa’ to Bishop Obinim” – Ola Michael

Gospel musician Florence Obinim and her husband, Bishop Daniel Obinim, founder and leader of International God’s Way Church, have reportedly been hit by fresh divorce claims after more than 20 years of marriage.

The allegation was made by Ghanaian media personality Ola Michael, who claimed that information from a member of Bishop Daniel Obinim’s family indicated that Florence Obinim’s family had taken a traditional step associated with ending a marriage.

According to Ola Michael, Florence’s family reportedly returned the traditional drinks known as “Tiri Nsa” to Bishop Obinim’s family, a gesture traditionally understood in some Ghanaian customary marriage settings as an indication that a woman’s family wants the marriage brought to an end.

Speaking on Neat FM, Ola Michael said the alleged decision followed growing concerns over what Florence’s family considers persistent disrespect, embarrassment and insults surrounding the marriage.

“What the family member told me was that Florence’s family had returned the drinks, saying they were tired of the disgrace, insults and everything else that had happened. I asked him whether, when the family returned the drinks, Bishop Obinim collected them, and he said Bishop hurriedly directed that they should take them,” Ola Michael said.

He further claimed that Bishop Obinim and his family accepted the drinks instead of rejecting them, although the circumstances surrounding the alleged exchange remain unclear.

Florence Obinim, whose marriage to Bishop Daniel Obinim has attracted considerable public attention over the years, is known for her gospel music career and her role alongside her husband in the ministry.

Despite the claims, neither Florence Obinim nor Bishop Daniel Obinim has publicly confirmed that the traditional drinks were returned or that their marriage has formally ended.

For now, the alleged “Tiri Nsa” development remains unverified, leaving the status of the couple’s long-standing marriage a subject of intense public speculation.
