Florence Obinim credits divine timing for car, says iPhone came after prayer

Gospel singer Florence Obinim, wife of well-known clergyman Bishop Daniel Obinim, popularly called Angel Obinim, has drawn public attention after sharing how she believes prayer and divine intervention influenced the luxury items she has recently received, including a brand-new vehicle donated by Service Machinery Ghana Limited (SMGL).

The gospel artiste disclosed that while she never specifically asked God for a Toyota RAV4 SUV, she still considers its arrival a blessing she attributes to worship and faith. According to her, the gift came at a time when she had previously spoken about financial limitations and mobility struggles despite her long-standing marriage.

Florence Obinim, who earlier revealed she had depended on ride-hailing services and public transport due to lack of personal transportation, also reflected on another personal testimony involving a high-end smartphone she desired.

“The phone I was using then was very bad, so I prayed and told God, I need an iPhone 17 Pro Max. Three days after I started praying, God touched Bishop Obinim and he gifted me the phone. I hadn’t even told him I needed a phone,” she said.

She further explained that her recent SUV gift was not the result of any specific prayer request, but rather what she describes as God responding to her spiritual devotion.

“I didn’t even pray for the car, I won’t lie to you. All I did was praise and worship God, and He saw my plight and blessed me accordingly,” she said.

The Toyota RAV4, reportedly a 2025 model, was presented to her through SMGL, adding to ongoing public conversations about her marriage with Angel Obinim. Florence has previously stated that despite being married to one of Ghana’s most influential pastors, she experienced financial restrictions, including limited access to her own music earnings.

While she continues to attribute the developments in her life to divine favour, the conversation around her marriage and public statements remains active and widely debated.
