Three separate fire incidents were recorded at Ogbojo, the Circle Roundabout and along the Teshie Bush Road in the Greater Accra Region on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), an abandoned trailer and its contents were completely destroyed by fire at Ogbojo.

The blaze also threatened two buses parked close to the burning trailer. Firefighters who arrived at the scene managed to prevent the flames from spreading to the buses.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established.

At the Circle Roundabout, firefighters responded to a separate incident involving burning refuse. The fire was brought under control before it could spread to nearby properties. No casualties or property damage were reported.

Another fire was recorded along the Teshie Bush Road, where a vehicle caught fire. Firefighters responded to the incident and managed to bring the blaze under control.

The GNFS has not yet disclosed the cause of the two fires.

Personnel from the Trade Fair Fire Station responded and successfully extinguished the blaze. However, the fire destroyed the vehicle’s bonnet, engine compartment and bumper.

No injuries or deaths were reported in the Teshie Bush Road incident.

The GNFS said the three incidents occurred at separate locations and were handled independently by firefighters. The causes of the fires remain under investigation.
