Fancy Gadam’s ex-wife accuses him of fuelling online attacks against her
The separation between Ghanaian musician Fancy Gadam and his former wife, Queen Meela, has taken a new turn after she accused the artiste of indirectly encouraging online criticism against her.
Queen Meela, known in private life as the former spouse of Ghanaian Afropop and dancehall musician Mujahid Ahmed Bello, popularly known as Fancy Gadam, claimed that the singer has been sharing social media content in which people attack and insult her, despite previously stating that their separation had not created hostility between them.
In a video posted online, Queen Meela said she does not consider Fancy Gadam an enemy because they share a child, but believes his recent actions do not reflect the peaceful relationship he spoke about after their marriage ended.
“When he came online to say we were no more, he said we are not enemies because we have a child. Yes, I will never see him as an enemy because he is my child’s father. If he sees me as an enemy, reposting every video where people talk badly about me, call me all sorts of names, forgetting whatever we have both been through or what I have sacrificed for him, that’s his own problem. I’m not here to come and talk about what I have done or what I have not done. I don’t have time for that,” she said.
The comments come months after Fancy Gadam confirmed that his marriage to Queen Meela had ended. The Tamale-based musician explained that although they were no longer together, they remained connected through their child and had no personal issues.
“I am not married anymore; I am single. I have seen people asking why my wife was not there and why she was not promoting the programme. We are no more. We are no more, but we have a child together, and there is no problem between us,” Fancy Gadam said.
The latest development has sparked discussions among fans, with many questioning whether the former couple’s public statements about maintaining a cordial relationship match their actions behind the scenes.
