The Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) on Sunday commemorated the first anniversary of Madam Akua Donkor’s death with the unveiling of her tomb in Ejuratia.
The ceremony was attended by the party’s current leader, Philip Kwabena Agyemang, popularly known as Roman Fada.
Family members, her husband, Catholic clergy, church members, and party executives participated in prayers and tributes, reflecting on her pivotal role in the party and her service to the community.

As part of the memorial, the delegation made a cash donation to the Ejuratia Roman Catholic Church, where Madam Donkor worshipped.
Party officials stated that the event was organised to honour her contributions to the GFP and to reaffirm their commitment to continuing her work and sustaining the party’s mission.
