Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has officially submitted his nomination forms to the Electoral Commission (EC), marking a significant milestone in his bid to become President in the upcoming December 7 elections.
This is a historic moment for Dr. Bawumia, as it represents his first time filing nomination forms as a presidential candidate. Previously, he had served as running mate in the 2008 and 2012 elections and as Vice President in the 2016 and 2020 elections.
The EC Chairperson, Jean Mensa, received Dr. Bawumia’s nomination forms, formalizing his candidacy and paving the way for his campaign to become the next President of Ghana.
