Ejisu MCE’s Statement:
On behalf of the good people of Ejisu Municipality, I, Hon Samuel Oduro Frimpong, Municipal Chief Executive, wishes all Muslims in the Municipality and the nation as a whole a happy Eid-ul Fitr and Congratulate them for a successful fasting.
Eid-ul Fitr is celebrated with great zeal by Muslims around the world to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan and it is observed on the first day of Shawaal, the tenth month of the Islamic calendar.
Today, which marks the end of Ramadan, saw Muslims fast for thirty days and exhibited dedication to Allah. As prophet Mohammed (S. A. W) said “ The blessings of fasting is known to Allah alone”. This provides the incentives for Muslims to strive to please Allah.
As all Muslims in the Municipality are celebrating Eid-ul Fitr today, I wish you well and pray that you celebrate with caution. I call on everyone especially the Youth to be modest and circumspect in their celebration so that no injuries will be recorded.
Finally, let’s use this opportunity to pray for the Municipality, the Region and Ghana as a whole. Let’s pray for His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and his Excellency the Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia for Allah’s continued guidance and protection as they lead this country onto the path of prosperity and equal opportunities for all.
Once again, Eid Mubarik to all Muslims in Ghana especially Muslims in EJISU Municipality.
May Allah accept your good deeds and ease the suffering of the people around the world and bring happiness in your heart and to your close ones.
Signed
Hon Samuel Oduro Frimpong
