Ministry of Education has taken a significant step to revolutionize the country’s educational landscape.
Through the Centre for National Distance Learning and Open School (CENDLOS), the ministry has launched a digital TV platform called Channel MOE. This initiative, led by Dr. Yaw Adu Twum, aims to provide all students with access to quality educational content.
According to the minister, Channel MOE will not only improve the quality of education delivery but also transform the Ghanaian student. The platform is expected to propagate the transformational revolution happening in the education sector, building on the progress made by the NPP government in terms of education.
Nana Gyamfi Adwabour, CEO of CENDLOS, emphasized that Channel MOE will significantly enhance the standard of education in Ghana, regardless of a student’s location.
He believes the TV channel will play a crucial role in making free education meaningful for all Ghanaian students in the 21st century.
According to Nana Gyamfi Adwabour, Channel MOE will serve as a catalyst for improving education quality, helping to achieve SDG goal 4 – inclusive and quality education for all Ghanaians.
He expressed gratitude to the government of Ghana and the Ministry of Education for their innovative approach to education.
