A popular acheke seller at East Legon, Abigail Adabo, popularly known as Chez Amis, has been dragged before the Madina District Magistrate Court by Tact Cyber Care Company, a cybersecurity agency, over an alleged breach of contract.
Background to the Case
According to court filings, Miss Adabo engaged the services of the cybersecurity agency to mitigate the circulation of alleged nude pictures and videos of her husband that had gone viral on social media platforms, including Telegram and Snapchat.
The agency initially charged $3,000 for the service, but after negotiations, both parties agreed on a reduced fee of $2,500.
The Lawsuit
Tact Cyber Care Company claims that it successfully executed about 85% of the work under the agreement, but Miss Adabo allegedly defaulted on paying the agreed amount.
The agency is, therefore, seeking a court order to compel her to settle the outstanding contractual fee.
At the hearing held on July 28, 2025, Miss Adabo denied all the claims made by the plaintiff, insisting that she owes the company nothing.
The court has since adjourned the case to September 4, 2025, for continuation.
