The chief of Akyem Akwabourso, Barima Dwamena Amaniampong III, has urgently called on the government to prioritize the provision of basic social amenities for his community.
These amenities include a health centre and speed ramps on their roads, which would greatly improve the quality of life for the people.
According to the chief, there are over two thousand adults residing in his community, yet there is a glaring absence of a health centre to cater to the medical needs of the residents.
Barima Dwamena Amaniampong III voiced these concerns during the commemoration of his 2nd anniversary as the chief of Akyem Akwabourso.
He emphasized that while he and his people are making efforts to provide for themselves, it is crucial for the government to swiftly intervene and assist in establishing a health facility and other necessary amenities for the community.
