Residents of Adansi Anwiaso in the Adansi Asokwa District of the Ashanti Region have been thrown into a state of shock and grief after the driver of a saloon car had his head cut off in a car crash.
An eye witness named Chief said a tanker rammed head-on into the saloon car with registration number AW 1514- 22, resulting in the instant death of the young driver.
The driver of the tanker with registration number AS 8679- 22 is said to have been driving at top speed and carelessly forcing some other motorists to try to stop him along the journey, but he refused to stop.
He’s said to have continued speeding while negotiating a curve and unfortunately crushed the saloon car.
It took the intervention of Fire Service Officers who had to cut the badly mangled car to enable them to extricate the lifeless body of the driver and convey it to the morgue.
The driver of the tanker, however, sustained injuries but survived the accident.
Police have visited the accident scene for investigations to commence.
