Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has paid a visit to the family of the late music icon, Daddy Lumba, to express his condolences.
Accompanied by several stalwarts of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Bawumia joined the family at their residence to mourn the legendary musician and sign the book of condolence.
In a message shared on social media, the former NPP flagbearer praised Daddy Lumba’s profound influence on Ghana’s music landscape, describing his contributions as both deep and timeless.
He also called on the government to honour the late artist with a state funeral in recognition of his exceptional service to the nation through music.
