Former Minister of Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has scintillated rumours about a potential run for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential nomination in 2028.
The speculation follows a now-deleted social media post that many viewed as a subtle hint at his political ambitions, igniting conversations around his potential candidacy.
The post, characterised by its inspirational words, read: “In the silence of the noise, one man’s record speaks louder than mere campaign chants. One man’s impact echoes across every region. One man’s vision is what Ghana needs for a total Ghanaian transformation.”

Dr. Adutwum’s remarks appear to reflect his leadership philosophy, indicating that he trusts his track record and vision will resonate louder with voters than traditional campaign tactics.
Although his possible candidacy has not been officially announced, the tone of his post seems to encourage Ghanaians to move past political rhetoric and instead consider his achievements and what he could bring to the nation’s future.
