Don Little urges Stonebwoy, Sarkodie to settle their beef privately

Ghanaian actor and comedian Stephen Atangah, popularly known as Don Little, has waded into the growing dispute between dancehall musician Livingstone Etse Satekla, known as Stonebwoy, and rapper Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, urging them to take their differences off social media.

In a video shared online on September 9, 2026, Don Little appealed to the two award-winning artistes to handle their disagreement privately, arguing that their stature in the entertainment industry demands a more mature approach to conflict.

“This matter, you guys are grown-up adults. You don’t have to allow people to know your issues on social media. You have to call yourselves and settle your differences quietly,” he said.

The actor stressed that he was not interested in choosing between the two musicians, noting that he respects both of them and was only offering his perspective as the controversy continues to attract public attention.

“Stonebwoy and Sarkodie, I like you guys. I don’t want to take sides in this issue, but I have to tell you the little I have for you,” he stated.

Don Little also referred to the now-viral discussion about Sarkodie visiting Stonebwoy’s home and eating jollof, arguing that such a personal interaction should not have become part of a public dispute.

“The person is your friend and he came to your house. If you guys planned to record music and he came to your house to eat jollof, this is not an issue to talk about on social media,” he said.

He made a direct appeal to Stonebwoy to consider ending the public exchanges and urged both artistes to recognise the influence they wield over younger musicians.

“Stonebwoy, I like you, so let this go. It’s someone who is closer to you that will sell you out. I’m not saying Sarkodie is selling you out, but it’s a normal thing. Silence is key and everything. You’re the ones the young musicians are looking up to, so you have to stop all this fighting in the media,” he added.

Don Little’s intervention comes as Stonebwoy and Sarkodie continue to trade explanations over their relationship, past interactions and disagreements, with their exchanges generating significant discussion among fans.

For Don Little, however, the priority is simple: the two music heavyweights should put the cameras and keyboards aside and resolve their differences away from the public eye.
