Mr. Kofi Akpaloo the Founder and leader of Liberal Party Of Ghana (LPG) has chastised the former president John Mahama over his “Do or Die” comments.
Mr. Mahama, speaking on Techiman-based Akina FM in the Bono Region where he went on a ‘Thank You Tour,’ said the main opposition National Democratic Congress will be extra vigilant at the polling station level to guard their votes.
“There is a saying that you take lessons from whatever happens. We have learnt our lessons from the 2020 polls. The 2024 elections will be won or lost at the polling station. It will be ‘do-or-die’ at the polling stations, I am not saying all-die-be-die. The ex president declared.
But commenting on the issue on Oyerepa FM’s Ketekye’ show, chaired by Oduhyefuo Nana Asabre, last Saturday, Mr. Akpaloo described the “Do or Die” statement made by the former president as bad.
The LPG leader opined that there will be no charge if ex president Mahama apologies or not.
According to him, ‘All die be die’ statement by Akufo-Addo affected him in 2016.
“Mahama cannot be president again. He has done his part… He want to become president again because of greediness”. Mr. Akpaloo further stated.
“Mahama did not finish looting Ghana that is why he wants to come back.” He pronounced.
