Desmond Kwame Abrefah, an independent presidential candidate, for Save the Nation Movement has boldly stated that Ghana’s current problems stem from a leadership crisis.
Speaking to Oyerepa News after filing his nomination forms at the Electoral Commission Headquarters, Abrefah emphasized the need for a truthful and God-fearing leader who prioritizes the needs of the vulnerable.
“Ghanaians are looking for a leader who fears the Lord and cares for the sick, homeless, and needy. We need a selfless leader who provides for street children and develops opportunities for the homeless, rather than accumulating wealth and power for themselves and their families”, Abrefah said
Abrefah also addressed the issue of illegal mining activities (Galamsey), expressing sadness that Ghana’s security agencies have failed to protect the country’s resources.
He vowed to tackle the problem head-on, stating, “I’m coming to make a change and deal with those involved in Galamsey. Our politicians have failed to lead because they prioritize political power over the truth, but I’m committed to protecting Ghana’s future.”
Abrefah’s message resonates with many Ghanaians who are seeking a leader who will prioritize their needs and protect the country’s resources.
As the 2024 elections approach, Abrefah’s candidacy offers a fresh perspective on leadership and governance in Ghana.
