The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AshantiGold Sporting Club (Ashgold) Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has made shocking revelation about how some people tried to kill him as well as destroy his football club.
According to him, Cudjoe Fianoo, former CEO of the club and others planned to kill him but their terror adventure did not work as God saved him from his supposed killers.
“Cudjoe Fianoo and some people planned to kill me but they failed.” Dr. Kwaku Frimpong stated in an interview with Oyerepa FM’s Today’s Sports, Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
He further attributed the recent obstructions in his club to, Cudjoe Fianoo, the incumbent Chairman of Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), alleging that he (Cudjoe Fianoo) is sabotaging him (Kwaku Frimpong).
“Cudjoe Fianoo is the one sabotaging me and Ashanti Gold Sporting Club. He’s the brain behind all problems happening at the club currently. Very soon I will make a lot of revelations and you will be shocked.”
The CEO revealed that, “our coach Henry Hausler has been fired, he’s not doing well and we have parted ways with him. Very soon a new head coach will be announced, hopefully next week”.
He assured the fans of the club to keep calm despite the difficulties facing the club. He believes things will be in order as soon as possible.
“I want all our fans and the supporters in Obuasi to remain calm, nothing have happened.” Dr. Kwaku Frimpong entreated.
