President John Mahama has made key appointments to strengthen Ghana’s national security.
Former Chief of Staff Prosper Douglas Bani will serve as National Security Advisor, bringing his expertise to the role.

This appointment follows President Mahama’s visit to Bawku, where he pledged to prioritize security concerns.

– Director of Operations at the Presidency: COP Nathan Kofi Boakye (Rtd.), who will oversee operational effectiveness in security matters.
– Director General of the National Intelligence Bureau: Charles Kipo.
