Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, has donated a brand-new wheelchair and an undisclosed amount of cash to Philemon Quashie, a 43-year-old physically challenged individual in Offinso South.
The kind gesture was prompted by Quashie’s attendance at the recent unity walk launch in the constituency, where he was seen struggling with a faulty wheelchair.
Moved by Quashie’s enthusiasm and determination, COKA pledged to assist him.
“Your wheelchair isn’t strong enough but for your enthusiasm, I will get you a new one,” COKA said.
On September 6, a team led by Offinso South NPP Constituency Chairman Salathiel Kwaku Takyi and Assembly Member for the Abofuo Electoral Area, Mr Sarfo, visited Quashie’s home to deliver the wheelchair and cash donation.
Upon receiving the donation, Quashie expressed his heartfelt gratitude to COKA and the NPP team for their kindness, stating, “Your generosity has brought me immense joy and relief.”
