After enjoying massive attention with Sugarcane and Sugarcane Remix, it seems Afrobeats artiste Camidoh is ready to excite music lovers again. His new extended play (EP) titled ‘A Lifetime Is Not Enough’ was released on Thursday, January 19.
Songs on A Lifetime Is Not Enough produced by himself and Hope Brain Ashiagbor are Free Me, Adoley, Like You Mean It, Ghetto Love, All Yours and Do Me.
Out of the six songs, Camidoh is promoting Adoley featuring Cina Soul which he describes as his favourite track on the EP.
On Adoley, Camidoh expresses love to a girl called Adoley. The singer uses words like beautiful, sexy, angel and everlasting love to describe his love interest and refers her as the best among the rest.
On the 3:21 minutes song, Camidoh goes all out doing what he is known for. The danceable song is appealing to the ear with Camidoh’s voice doing the magic thus with a little push, Adoley will blow just as Sugar Remix did.
Speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Camidoh said he decided to give his fans the six-track EP to enjoy as his new year gift while they wait for the main album which comes out in May this year.
“I feel I owe my fans so much for the love shown me over the years and giving this EP to them was the right thing to do. This year is my year because I have a lot of plans for my music. The upcoming album features a lot of collaborations in Ghana and beyond”, he said.
Camidoh released his first single, For My Lover featuring Darkovibes in 2018 and subsequently released another, The Best featuring Kelvyn Boy and on Available, he worked with Eugy.
Born Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, Camidoh won the Afrobeat Artiste of the Year and Afropop Artiste of the Year at the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Other songs he is known for include Kaba, The Best, All For You, For My Lover, Dance With You, Available, Pressure and The Way, Pull Up.
