More than 400 delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Agona West Constituency have openly declared their support for Dr. Bryan Acheampong ahead of the party’s presidential primaries.
According to them, while some previously supported Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong in earlier contests, they now believe Dr. Acheampong stands tall among the current candidates.
Speaking at a press conference in Agona Swedru, Ebenezer Donkoh, leader of the Concerned NPP Delegates and Agona Youth for Victory, said Dr. Acheampong is a unique candidate capable of leading the party to victory in the 2028 general elections.
He added that Dr. Acheampong’s exceptional leadership style makes him well-positioned to foster unity within the NPP, stressing the need for all delegates to rally behind him.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Nana Ansah, some delegates also appealed to their colleagues across the country to support Dr. Acheampong to ensure victory for the party in 2028.
