A woman, Comfort Tawiah, who lives at Awutu Bawjiase in the Central Region is battling for her life after her husband poured acid on her.
The suspect, Ishmael Atsitso Agboko, popularly known as King Duga who resides at Kasoa accused his wife of cheating.
According to the victim, they are no longer living in the same house.
“We are not living together, he (husband) has been beating me all the time. He came to where I reside, took my phone to call some contacts on it. I confronted him so he got infuriated and left.”
“Later on the same day, he came back to my room and poured some liquid on me. I thought it was porridge not knowing it was acid”. she is lamented.
According to the victim, they have for some time now been having issues over the responsibilities of their kid as their relationship is on the verge of collapse.
