The Gomoa East District Assembly has officially launched the 2026 Gomoa East Business Expo, a strategic initiative designed to support local enterprises and attract investors to the district.
Speaking at the launch, the District Chief Executive, Margaret Naana Ackom, reaffirmed her commitment to transforming Gomoa East into a vibrant business hub within the Central Region.
She emphasised that the district’s vast land resources and attractive beachfronts make it an ideal destination for investment.
She encouraged local investors and entrepreneurs to take advantage of the opportunity and participate fully in the Expo, scheduled for April 2026.
Hon. Naana Ackom also appealed for collective support from the community to ensure the success of the Expo, stressing the potential for local businesses to make meaningful economic contributions.
Daasebre Kwebu Awusi VII, Omanhene of the Abeadzi Traditional Area and former Vice President of the National House of Chiefs, commended the DCE for the initiative. He called on the Assembly to develop policies that further strengthen and sustain local businesses.
He also urged Ghanaians to value and patronise locally made products, noting that they are of high quality and essential for boosting the local economy.
