A four-year-old boy, Godsway Nuchuga, has died, while his elder brother, Seth Nuchuga, 35, is in critical condition after a building collapsed on them at Awutu Papaase Number One following a heavy downpour on Monday night.
The tragic incident occurred in Awutu Papaase Number One in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
According to reports gathered by Nana Ansah, the victims were asleep in a mud structure when it collapsed during the rainstorm.
In an interview, the Awutu Senya West District NADMO Coordinator, Salifu Adams, confirmed that the young boy died after residents removed the debris.

His elder brother, who sustained severe injuries, has been rushed to the Trauma and Specialist Hospital in Winneba for treatment.
Mr Adams has therefore cautioned residents, especially those living in weak or dilapidated structures, to take precautionary measures as the rainy season intensifies.
